These terms govern your use of the indigofostering.com website. They are not the agreement between Indigo and an approved foster carer — that is set out separately.

1. Who we are

2. Using this website

By using this website you agree to these terms. You may use the site for lawful, personal purposes — to learn about fostering with us and to get in touch. You agree not to misuse the site, attempt to disrupt it, or use it in any way that is unlawful or could harm others.

3. Enquiries and forms

Submitting an enquiry through the “Register your interest” or “Transfer to us” forms, or contacting us, does not create any obligation on you or on Indigo, and does not mean you have been approved to foster. Becoming a foster carer is subject to a full assessment and approval process required by law. We aim to respond to enquiries within two working days.

4. Information, not professional advice

The content on this site is general information about fostering with Indigo. It is provided in good faith and we try to keep it accurate and up to date, but it is not legal, financial or professional advice and should not be relied on as such. For advice about your circumstances, please speak to us directly.

5. Intellectual property

Unless stated otherwise, the content, design and branding on this site are owned by or licensed to Indigo Fostering and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may view and print pages for your own personal use, but you may not reproduce, republish or use them commercially without our permission. The Ofsted logo is used in accordance with Ofsted’s guidelines.

6. Links to other websites

Our site may link to third-party websites (for example the Ofsted inspection report). We provide these for convenience and are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.

7. Availability and liability

We aim to keep the site available and working, but we don’t guarantee it will always be uninterrupted or error-free, and we may change or withdraw content at any time. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, this website. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under law.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the courts of England and Wales.

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they were last changed; please check back occasionally.
